Blessed and most successful Leadership in Christ
Who should be accounted the greatest (Matthew 20, 20-28)
Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons,
worshipping [him], and desiring a certain thing of him. 21 And he said
unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two
sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in
thy kingdom. 22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask.
Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be
baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We
are able. 23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup,
and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on
my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but [it shall be
given to them] for whom it is prepared of my Father. 24 And when the ten
heard [it], they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.
25 But Jesus called them [unto him], and said, Ye know that the princes
of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great
exercise authority upon them. 26 But it shall not be so among you: but
whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister; 27 And
whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant: 28 Even as
the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to
give his life a ransom for many.
Who should be accounted the greatest (Mark 9, 33) And he
came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it
that ye disputed among yourselves by the way? 34 But they held their
peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who [should
be] the greatest. 35 And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith
unto them, If any man desire to be first, [the same] shall be last of
all, and servant of all.
Who should be accounted the greatest (Luke 22, 24)
And there was also a strife among them, which of them should be
accounted the greatest. 25 And he said unto them, The kings of the
Gentiles exercise lordship over them; and they that exercise authority
upon them are called benefactors. 26 But ye shall not be so: but he that
is greatest among you, let him be as the younger; and he that is chief,
as he that doth serve. 27 For whether is greater, he that sitteth at
meat, or he that serveth? is not he that sitteth at meat? but I am among
you as he that serveth.
Danger of pride in leadership (Proverbs 13,10)
Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.
Importance of Counselors (Proverbs 15,22)
Without counsel purposes are disappointed: but in the multitude of
counsellors they are established.
Exemplariness of Jesus and Apostle Paul (Galatians 2, 20)
I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ
liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the
faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.
Seed and Harvest (Galatians 6,1-10)
1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual,
restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest
thou also be tempted. 2 Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the
law of Christ. 3 For if a man think himself to be something, when he is
nothing, he deceiveth himself. 4 But let every man prove his own work,
and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another. 5
For every man shall bear his own burden. 6 Let him that is taught in the
word communicate unto him that teacheth in all good things. 7 Be not
deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he
also reap. 8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap
corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap
life everlasting. 9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due
season we shall reap, if we faint not. 10 As we have therefore
opportunity, let us do good unto all [men], especially unto them who are
of the household of faith.
Seed and Harvest (Mathew 7,12)
Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do
ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.
Leadership has nothing to do with oppression but with serving.
Leadership has nothing to do with oppression but with commitment.
Leadership has nothing to do with oppression but with exemplariness.
That is what it takes to be transformed into a mighty man of God.
Confess and repent and change your life today to receive Gods’ blessings
like never before!
